Organizing Training
This August, OFM Network will be hosting our largest training ever. Wth regional partners and leaders from across the country, we will convene in Tacoma, WA. First United Methodist Church, which is also home to Common Good Tacoma, will serve as our host.
Registration is now open. It is $250 for OFM Network members, (including participants from member organizations, annual conferences, or synods) or $350 for non-members. Registration covers program costs and 4 meals. Participants are responsible for housing costs and travel to Tacoma. The planning team will work on logistics from SEA airport or the Tacoma train station.
As part of our equity commitment, scholarships are available and distributed by the planning team. To request support, please fill out this short form.
A hotel block is available at the Courtyard Marriott Tacoma Downtown for $179 per night. The link for this will be available soon.
A small group of leaders will be meeting before the training to participate in our Train-the-Trainer gathering. If you are interested in joining that, please complete this survey. Click here.
In keeping with our commitment to equity and accessibility, the training will be fully bilingual in Spanish and English.

I support the staff and students at Jennie Reed Elementary. I encourage Tacoma Public Schools to address the root causes and not the symptoms at Reed. Keep Mr. K at Reed and listen to the community.

Windmill farm workers update
It has been one year since the launch of the Windmill Mushroom Boycott. This weekend we are invited to honor the Sunnyside WA workers who've been leading the fight.
